A meeting of the Development & Operations Services Standing Committee will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 in Community Rooms B & C, Library/Municipal Offices, 55 Ste. Marie Street, Collingwood commencing at 5:00 p.m.

1. CALL OF STANDING COMMITTEE TO ORDER
 
2. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
THAT the content of the Development and Operations Services Standing Committee Agenda for May 15, 2017 be adopted as presented.
 
3. ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR, Deputy Clerk Dahl

  • Update on South Georgian Bay Lake Simcoe Source Protection Region Plan, Ryan Post, Lead Hydrogeologist, Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority
7. REPORTS/MINUTES OF OTHER COMMITTEES/BOARDS
  • THAT the Development & Operations Services Standing Committee receive and refer the minutes of the Collingwood Heritage Committee meetings held March 22, 2017 and April 26, 2017 to the next regular meeting of Council.
Recommendation: THAT the Heritage Committee recommends that Council proceed with the Amendment of designating By-law No. 83-45, under Section 30.1 of the Ontario Heritage Act, for the property located at 224 Minnesota Street.
 
Recommendation: THAT the Heritage Committee recommends that Council proceed with the Amendment of designating By-law No. 90-77, under Section 30.1 of the Ontario Heritage Act, for the property located at 291 Third Street.
 
Recommendation: THAT the Heritage Committee recommends that a letter of support of Bill C-323 Amendment to the Income Tax Act be sent by the Clerk’s Department.

Pretty River Estates – Robertson Street Townhouses (Blocks A Through E)
 
RECOMMENDING THAT the Development and Operations Services Standing Committee support and refer the following Staff Report to the next regular meeting of Council:
 
Staff Recommendation: THAT Council enact and pass a Part Lot Control Exemption By-law to allow for 28 lots to be created for townhouse dwelling units within Registered Plan 51M-945.
