Collingwood and District Historical Society Meeting

400 years ago the part of Simcoe and Grey Counties in which we live was home to an indigenous population known as "The Petun". At the next meeting of the Collingwood and District Historical Society, Monday, March 6th, 2017, Pat Raible, author and historian and Carole Stuart, coordinator, local history and genealogy at the Collingwood library, will present a look at these First Nation people and give a deeper knowledge and a wider understanding of those who lived here before us. Meeting begins at 7 pm at the Leisure Time Club, Minnesota Street, Collingwood. Admission is CDHS membership, which is $20.00 per year OR by meeting admission fee of $5.00
