By-law to Assume Highway (Lakeside Pointe Subdivision)

Summary: 

BEING A BY-LAW TO ASSUME AND DEDICATE CERTAIN HIGHWAYS AND MUNICIPAL SERVICES WITHIN LAKESIDE POINTE SUBDIVISION


WHEREAS Council for The Corporation of the Town of Collingwood accepts the as-constructed streets and municipal services within and complementary to the Lakeside Pointe Subdivision;
 
AND WHEREAS certain streets and the municipal services within the Lakeside Pointe Subdivision are to be assumed for public use and for maintenance purposes;
 
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF COLLINGWOOD HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
 
1.    THAT the lands hereinafter described be assumed for public use and dedicated as highways in the Town of Collingwood, and the municipal services within the Lakeside Pointe Subdivision be assumed for maintenance purposes;
 
a)    Silver Crescent, Plan 51M-903, Collingwood; PIN 58298-0192(LT) and 58298-0193(LT)
b)    Barrington Trail, Plan 51M-903, Collingwood; PIN 58298-0190(LT)
 
2.    THAT the lands hereinafter described form part of the highway identified hereinafter and be dedicated and assumed as part of the identified highway for public use;

3.    THAT this By-law shall come into full force and effect on the date of final passage hereof at which time all by-laws and/or resolutions that are inconsistent with the provisions of this By-law and the same are hereby repealed or rescinded insofar as it is necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law.
